The Commission has now issued approximately \u20ac24 billion of its \u20ac75 billion funding target for the first half of 2024<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">. <\/span>&#8220;The proceeds of the transaction will be used to finance EU policy programs,&#8221; the Commission said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/ip_24_921\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction concerned a new, single-tranche \u20ac7 billion EU-Bond due on December 4, 2034.\u00a0The 10-year bond came at a re-offer yield of 3.028%, equivalent to a price of 99.754.
