Brussels \u2013\u00a0While all the attention in Brussels is focused on the ongoing debate between the European Commission presidential candidates, which is focused precisely on relations with the extreme right\u2014with Ursula von der Leyen making clear openings for collaborations\u2014the executive board of the Identity and Democracy group, the one to which the Lega and Rassemblement National belong, issues a note to announce that it “decided today to exclude with immediate effect<\/strong> the German AfD delegation.”<\/p>\n

The “ouster” had already been announced days ago by RN leader Marine Le Pen<\/a> after AfD’s top candidate Maximilian Krah, in an interview, refused to condemn the Nazi special forces SS as a whole.<\/p>\n
