The Ecofin Council, meeting in Luxembourg, decided to review the jurisdictions that do not offer information or cooperate in the fight against tax evasion. Following&nbsp;the decision, <strong>11 countries remain on the European blacklist, namely:&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>American Samoa, Anguilla, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Panama, Russia, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, the US&nbsp;Virgin Islands, and Vanuatu<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Antigua and Barbuda were added to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/policies\/eu-list-of-non-cooperative-jurisdictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">list of non-cooperative jurisdictions<\/a> in October 2023. A year later,&nbsp;the Caribbean country made&nbsp;commitments that&nbsp;convinced the 27 member states&nbsp;to normalize relations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Caribbean country cleared because of commitments made.
